This Panasonic Viera TX-L32G10 LCD TV is around £100 cheaper than its counterpart in the Panasonic V10 series. But with an almost identical stunning picture and none of the sound distortion, together with lots of extras, including Freeview and Freesat tuners, it offers a good buy.

The sound on the TX-L32G10 is still only average – but this is common amongst the latest TV models. Many consumers will add external speakers to ensure that the audio is up to the standard of the viewing experience.

And the TX-L32G10 picture is great. There is an excellent level of detail, with natural colours. The ability of the Panasonic TX-L32G10 to deliver fast moving pictures blur free via its Intelligent Frame Creation Engine has been widely praised by reviewers. And the Panasonic has a wider viewing angle than many of its competitors.

This Panasonic TX-L32G10 TV has the usual  features, but what sets its apart is how well they’re implemented. For example, audio description (with an additional narrative for those viewers who are visually impaired) is fairly common these days, but Panasonic has enabled it to be selected  either by headphones or speakers, and allows the volume to be adjusted independently.

Other useful features on the Panasonic Viera TX-L32G10 include 2 Q – Link enabled Scarts that can trigger a  recorder to turn off and on at pre-determined times – a feature many competitors lack. There is also Viera link, which allows you to use just one remote to control all functions on compatible equipment (such as a Blu-ray player) connected via one of the four HDMI slots on the TX-L32G10.

The Panasonic TX-L32G10 has an SD card slot where you can insert your camera’s memory card to view photos on the TV or play video files.

The ethernet port on the TX-L32G10 means you’ll be able to access web services via the BBC iPlayer Freesat service . As  with modern Panasonic TVs it is a delight to use, with  large buttons on the remote and well laid out menu.

Power consumption on the Panasonic TX-L32G10 is slightly lower than the  LCD average.

Panasonic scores over others by including a Freesat tuner. This feature, together with its great picture quality, particularly of fast moving images, makes the Panasonic Viera TX-L32G10 a serious contender for anyone’s choice for a new TV.
